Death Stranding was originally called Dead Stranding

Hideo Kojima shares an interesting information.

Hideo Kojima is happy to be active in the social media, and its activities often reveal interesting little things about his games - most recently for Death Stranding . The Open World title may be two months old at that time (almost) two months old, but the game director was lately on Twitter to show ideas that he and the developer team had milled around early in the production of the game.

Recently, Kojima has published a concept of the game on Twitter - a sketch of the main artist of the game, Yoji Shinkawa, showing soldiers in equipment and weapons. Of course it looks very much like the things we would see later Death Stranding itself, but more interesting is the fact that it was called - as a text on the sketch - early in the pre-production phase of the game was called dead Stranding - what just not has the same sound (which is probably the reason why you have changed it).

Hideo Kojima just broke Twitter

Death Stranding is now available for PS4 and will be released this summer on the PC. Meanwhile, Kojima already thinks about ideas for his next game - read more here.
