Houseboat anime trailer from The Secret Life of Penguins

Recently announced a long-term collaboration Studio Colorido and Netflix have released another trailer for the full-length anime Houseboat (Ame wo Tsugeru Hyouryuu Danchi).

This is a new project from the team behind The Secret Life of Penguins: director and writer Ishida Hiroyasu, character designer Akihiro Nagae (Burn the Witch, The Seven Deadly Sins) and composer Abe Umitaro. It's easy to draw parallels between the two films.

The main characters in the company of friends decide during the summer holidays to visit the house where they grew up. But the demolished building suddenly finds itself in the middle of the ocean, taking the children on an unforgettable adventure that will revive their former friendship.

Drifting Houseboat will release on Netflix on September 16th.
