Death Stranding is a video game developed by Kolyma Productions as well as modified by Sony Interactive Amusement. The game came out on November 8, 2019, on PlayStation 4 and July 14th 2020 on Windows. A Director's Cut variation came out on PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2021.
At the very beginning of your Death Stranding Play through, you will be prompted to enter your birthday. The game suggests that this can have an impact on your dooms, your character's ability to detect the presence of BT. The other characters of the game also have Dooms capabilities, but in your case, they make you perfectly fit to be carrier. Nothing like being able to detect the presence of these bulky BTS to facilitate the delivery of parcels.
Your birthday does it affect your door-to-door capabilities in a Death Stranding?
When you enter your date of birth, the game will tell you that people born at certain times of the year can present higher levels of dooms. He specifically appoints Cancer, Fish, Cetus, Delphinus and Gigs constellations. If you want to enter a date that will correspond to one of these constellations, these are:
Cancer — from June 21st to July 23rd Fish — from February 19th to March 20th CETUS — any date in November Delphinus — any date in September Gigs — date of any January
For the moment, no one knows if it will have an effect in the game. It is quite possible that a form of secret, or a little narrative, hidden behind the date of birth correct. But let's be honest here: Kolyma has already begged to change our controllers to win a fight against a boss, so there is no way to know what might happen in Death Stranding.
What we know is that if you play the game on your birthday, you will receive a cake. How nice! Personally, we do not think that a lot of things are hiding behind your birthday if it hides a secret, because it could interfere with anyone who would celebrate a birthday outside these dates. Maybe it's going to bind to a NPC character, and maybe explain how a person as fragile can do what she does. (We will not go in the details on her, for fear of hitting someone with an unwanted spoiler.)
