Since the 5th of August is a new co-op game on Steam in the Early Access: Death Trash. This has excellent reviews - but hardly players. A real insider tip?
What is this for a game? Death Trash is a new action-rpg in which you fight in a pretty bizarre world against all sorts of horror creatures, inspired by PostaPokalypse and Cyberpunk. The game is held in the retro-pixel look.
After the people settled on distant planets, old life has rated on one of their new homes. The ancient danger now threatens humanity there, which has withdrawn into the cities. You are one of the outcasts, who stayed behind with worm-grown and destructive machines in the wasteland.
Features include:
- Real-time gameplay with near and ranged weapons
- Stealth gameplay and shadiness
- Dialogues with NPCs and various choices
- Crafting
- Skills such as pickpocketing and ... puke
Although the focus of the game is on the Singleplayer campaign, but also offers a co-op mode. The playing time is currently around 10 hours. Death Trash comes from the German Indie developer Crafting Legends. It appeared on August 5 at Early Access on Steam and is also available in the Epic Games Store, on Good Old Games and Via Itch.io.
So good comes Death Trash: Currently Death Trash has on Steam a rating of extremely positive with 96% positive votes at 959 reviews (via Steam). In the reviews, Death Trash is often compared to Fallout 1 and 2, the first parts of the popular series. The colleagues of Gamestar also praised the German Fallout in the test (via gamestar.de).
The players especially praise the sloping humor and the many possibilities that can be exploited despite the short season. Further content is probably still followed.

How does the coop mode work? If you are slinging together with a friend, you experience the full campaign in the coop. Everyone has their own inventory and their own character with values, however progress in the quests is shared.
Even dialogues with NPCs and other actions out their separately and does not bother each other. Death Trash works only in the local coop with split screen or shared screen or by Steam Remote Play Together.

Online Koop is not planned at the moment. The developers themselves say that the team is too small to think about it. Death Trash is still in the Early Access and it is constantly developing. We see what time brings.
