Even with so many large console versions, the year for PC titles is quite strong.

Death Stranding
Yes, despite all the allegations that it is a glorified hiking simulation, it is still a big deal that Death Stranding comes to the PC. The PS4 version looks already stunning so you can imagine how excited we are when you run with full 60 frames per second and potential support for 4k resolution. And who can forget the hopefully glorious mods? Death Stranding will be released at the beginning of summer with friendly permission of 505 games.
Half Level: Alyx
Valve still can not count until three, but Half-Life: Alyx is the first real title in the franchise since 2004, so matter something. In March, the story takes place in front of Half-Life 2. The players control Alyx Vance, while fighting the combat with resistance and tries to save their father Eli. Only playable in VR, the players solve puzzles with new gravity gloves, navigate through the world and shoot fools in the face.
Gears Tactics
Gears Tactics takes place more than a decade before the first game. The world is threatened by grasshoppers. So it's up to you to assemble a troop to improve and modify them and to defend themselves. Big boss fights, destroyed environments and a 40-hour campaign could make Gears Tactics a great round-based title for XCom fans. The publication date of the Xbox One is currently unknown, but PC players receive it on April 28th.
New world
The Great MMO New World from Amazon Game Studios will be released in May 2020 and you can see how to travel on a foreign island called Aeternum to seek richness, but ultimately deal with warriors of the past. The whole goal is to catch, survive and combat these corruptions, which can either happen alone or in companies of players. It is interesting, although we are skeptical how an MMO will develop today. Fingers crossed.
A total war maga: Troja
The Total War franchise enters Trojan was and the legends of Achilles and Odysseus the territory of Ilias. They will build an empire, result in large real-time fighting war against their enemies and ultimately win the victory. With eight heroes on Trojan and Greek side a totally promised Saga: Troy an epic new edition of the classic.
Cruise king 3
Lie. To marry. Manipulate. To murder. Usurp. Paradox, great strategy continuation appears 2020 and invites players to conquer the Middle Ages. You will start with a kingdom and have to do anything to stay on the front. This means to engage a city council, to operate diplomacy with their neighbors, to lead war and maybe be a bit of sneaky. Crusader Kings 3 promises to continue the fondness of the series for complicated, bizarre stories, and we can not wait.
Griftland
Originally started as a large RPG for the open world, Klei Entertainments Griftland became a card-based Roguelike. When you enter the world, take various jobs, collect cards and use either to fight or negotiate in different dialogues. It is a convincing turn of the slay the spire formula with the typical klei art style. Griftlands is now available in the Epic Games Store, but will be available at Steam in June 2020 - the full game is currently planned for publishing on the PC until the end of 2020.
Hades
The isometric, hack and slash roguelite values of SuperGiant Games can differ from previous experiments. Together with some really great combat and level designs, however, the amount of story content is breathtaking. As Zagreus, Prince of the Underworld, the player fights for the escape, takes the help of Greek Pantheon and fights for enemies like the Hydra and the Wutschwestern. Each new run offers more options for dialogues, interactions, intermediate sequences and flashbacks. Hades is expected to appear in Q3 / Q4 2020 for PC, but is currently available soon.
mankind
Amplitude Studios has made a name for itself with strategy titles such as Endless Legend and Endless Space and offers a historical 4x experience in humanity. Players build a civilization and lead them through various eras, from cavemans to advanced technology, while building a realm of trade, influence or struggle. However, the own empire can be tailor-made with the help of elements of other civilizations in the course of history, resulting in a variety of game variants. Humanity publishes 2020 with more details that are expected soon.
Legends of Runeterra
The developer of League of Legends, Riot Games, has a number of different projects in the next few years, including CCG Legends of Runeterra. In addition to the usual cards with champions and spells, the freely playable title also offers a special expedition design mode, which allows you to create a random deck and update over different games. Legends of Runeterra will be in the beta phase for a while, but is to be introduced 2020 together with mobile platforms for the PC.
Honor medal: over and over
Exclusively for Oculus Rift, Honor Medal: Above and Beyond is a VR shooter of Respawn Entertainment. The player is an agent for the OSS and will take over missions to cross the air and the sea and return to Europe for the most urgent presentation of the Second World War in the series. The multiplayer mode was also confirmed, but there are still more accurate details. We will hopefully find out more before publishing the title this year.
The settlers
Ubisoft Blue Byte was mostly at Anno and not decent, but the Settlers series was mostly decent in recent years. The question is what the settlers who come out 2020 could offer. It uses the snowdrop engine and looks pretty pretty. Now we only need more information about the gameplay.
Roller Champions
The 3V3 sports title of Ubisoft was with the E3 last year, but the subsequent pre-alpha demo was fascinating. As in the Rocket League, but on skates and with some races, Roller Champions has to win pendants, unlock cosmetics and compete for more fame. It is started as a free title for playing for the PC in Q1 / Q2 2020.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
You probably have stopped understanding the World of Warcraft traditions, but Shadowlands, the next big extension, promises a unique setup, if nothing else. The border between Azeroth and Shadowlands, also known as life after death, was torn. The players will conquer five zones in this way, conquer four new dungeons and commit themselves to the new alliances. It's a huge amount of new content - we just hope that the gameplay does not suffer as Battle for Azeroth.
